Product Instructions
Thawing Instructions: To properly thaw: Keep shrimp frozen until ready to use. For best results, place desired amount of shrimp in a covered container. Place the container in the refrigerator (40 degrees F or below) for approximately 10 to 12 hours or overnight. Once thawed, shrimp should be kept refrigerated (40 degrees F or below) until ready to use and cooked within 3 days. Product requires cooking to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F prior to consumption. Do not refreeze.
Cooking Instructions: (When cooked, shrimp will be a deep orange color on the surface and opaque white inside. Cooking methods and appliances may vary, adjust cooking times accordingly. Cook to an internal temperature of 145 degrees F as measured by a food thermometer. Do not overcook. Refrigerate or discard leftovers immediately) Stovetop: 1. In large skillet, heat 1 to 2 tbsp oil or butter over medium heat. 2. Add thawed shrimp and your favorite seasoning. Stir occasionally, about 3 minutes until shrimp are opaque.
Boil: 1. In a large pot, bring 2 quarts of salted water to boil. 2. Add thawed shrimp, return to boil. 3. Simmer gently 2 to 3 minutes until shrimp are opaque. 4. Drain and rinse with cold water before serving.
Grill or Broil: 1. Brush thawed shrimp with oil. 2. Cook on grill or broil for 2 minutes each side. For additional flavor, combine thawed shrimp with your favorite marinade for about 2 hours in the refrigerator and grill as above.
Storage Instructions
