Baking Instructions: You Will Need: 3 Large eggs. 1/2 cup butter softened (1 stick). 2/3 milk (any type). Heat oven to 350 degrees F. For cake, grease the bottom of an 8 inches or 9 inches round cake pan. For cupcakes, place 12 paper baking cups in a medium muffin pan. Using scoop or spoon, portion batter into 12 muffin cups. Combine mix, milk, butter and eggs in large bowl. Mix with electric mixer on low speed 30 seconds, then on medium speed 2 minutes, scraping bowl occasionally. Bake for cake, bake for 48 to 52 minutes, or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out with only a few crumbs. For cupcakes, bake for 28 to 34 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and tops are slightly browned. Yield: Makes a round cake layer or 12 cupcakes.
